BC HIGH POINT ALL-AGE DOG 2009

FTCH AFTCH Bulrush Yellow Bud

Bud was born September 26, 2004. The result of a backyard breeding of two non-titled dogs, both golden retrievers. His mother drowned a few months after his birth. His sire is still alive but not hunted near water.

In 2006 Bud earned 34 junior points for #2 Junior retriever in Canada. He only ran Qualifying as a Junior dog and started running All-age as a 2 year old. In 2007 he earned 5 points, in 2008 21 points and this past year 30 points on mostly second placements (7).

Bud is completely owner trained with the assistance of one helper, Stan Cockerill. Stan is in his 80's but still loves coming out and throwing birds all seasons and weather. Winter training has all been done in Southern Alberta.
